Prime minister Sheikh Hasina expanded her cabinet inducting several new faces on Tuesday in the concluding year of the government’s five-year tenure.
President Abdul Hamid administered oath to Narayan Chandra Chanda, AKM Shahjahan Kamal, Kazi Keramat Ali and Mustafa Jabbar at the Darabar Hall of Bangabhaban on Tuesday evening. report-newage.
Narayan Chandra Chanda, AKM Shahjahan Kamal, and Mustafa Jabbar took oath as ministers and Kazi Keramat Ali took oath as state minister.
All the four reached Bangabhaban in the afternoon.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina was also present during oath taking of new ministers.
This was the third change in the cabinet since the present government assumed office following the January 5, 2014 elections boycotted by all the opposition political parties.
With the latest expansion there are now 33 ministers, 18 state ministers and two deputy ministers in the cabinet.
